The thinking Mind
Our mind, has always been, but more recently, working analytically - so any information obtained by it is analyzed and decomposed to its various forms. Think of it this way, when a problem arises in our lives, we feel immediately that there is an inherent need in us to solve it (or at least analyze and \ or giving an interpretation). Even more basically, when a stimuli is received by our senses, it will automatically be interpreted in relation to us - whether we like it or dislike it. Prejudices held by us, representing the outcome of other people's perceptions of us and the world, affect our perception (sometimes in latent way) of ourselves and others around us. Prejudices are not solely an outcome of the culture we live in, but also derived from the interpersonal relations we hold with our significant others, more profoundly in crucial periods of our lives.
